Default Can't have more than one account per ip??

I just heard that Byte Stryke's wife's account has been banned along with his. Why would her account be banned over his mistake? What about those of us that share a computer with roommates? If my roommate gets banned, so do I? Doesn't seem fair to me. Byte's wife is a shooter, and I'm sure she isn't the only wife that has an account along with their husband.

As of now my roommates are not signed up, but they want to. I sure hope if they do they don't piss anyone off.

Also what if someone other than me logs into their account while logged into my home wireless network? Or what about those of us that log in from work. At one time there were three members here in my office (we've downsized enough that there's only me now) On occasion I've shown for sale ads to co-workers and if one of them signs up to reply are we both going to be booted?

Seems to me that a reflexive ban without any sort of investigation will hit more "false positives" than anything else.

    News to me.

If that's the case, Maybe she should have posted more. But, when an account that has been dormant for over a year all of a sudden pops up, What am I suppose to think.

My guess, He may have set it up for her, and she never used it. He saw His opportunity after he got banned and used it himself. If that is not the case and out of the blue, She decides to start posting, then we will get it straightened out.

Most forums will do an IP ban for a banned member, for the exact reason of they're banned and are not allowed on the forum with another account.

Multiple accounts per IP usually goes under the radar unless one account gets in trouble.

Oh, and if you and your roomies are using the same email and have the same exact birthday, Yes, it just might throw a little suspicion your way also.

Yes, we do have a few more hubby/wifey teams on here and none of them share an email address, much less a birthday.. Yes, I do realize it is possible,On the birthday anyway. Not so much the email.

My ex and I had a joint email that we used for a lot of things. Either way it just seems like overkill to me.
