I like this forum and the people on it (except all the people on my ignore list). But really? Do we need the rules? What if my good personality doesn't want to post under my angry personalities account? What's the big deal if somebody has more than one account? Personally, I only have one account and don't post much anymore. I guess I'm still a little miffed at having to reveal my location. And at the watch dog gestapos looking for members that haven't added their location. Geez, get a life. Rant complete. Back to work.

Nobody on this forum, to my knowledge, is a cop killer. Speaking your mind and following through are two very different things. I guaranty that every member of this board has been pulled over when they were late for work or what not. I'm sure what they were thinking afterwards probably wasn't very positive. I'm willing to bet at least 60% of the members here have had negative experiences with officers of the law. I would also wager that you said the same thing Byte did when you told the story later.
Everyone here has wished someone dead. If you say you haven't you're an outright liar. It's human nature, no fighting it. To say that one person is more important than the next because of a badge is just idiocy. Cops used to actually protect people, but those days are gone. It's all about revenue now. If anyone could disagree with that i would ask why they CCW then. I'm 100% sure that everyone that does CCW, does so because they know that their only protection comes from themselves.
Cops are just people with a job, they have the authority they so because we as a community give it to them. When a cop is out of line, it should be our right to strip him of that authority. When they threaten lives over nonsense, they should face the same punishment we would have to. But I guess paid leave, possibly a smack on the wrist is all they seem to ever get.
I have nothing against Byte..but the mods are the ones in charge around here.
Seriously, you're not helping his case any.
Get off his nuts.
He knew the rules. He broke the rules. He got punished.
I was trying to wrestle with the justification. From what I saw it was that if someone did take up action and killed a cop it could come back on the forum and those who run it. Is that not also true if one of you goes and Matt Shepards someone? To be clear I'm not playing Bytes advocate here, the ban is what it is and understandable, just saying that pendulum swings in more than one direction and to know which way will get you slapped is good to know.
Dear Sir,
I joined this forum shortly after it opened the doors, but there was very little activity, so I sort-of forgot about it. So I may have two accounts, but its not a malicious act. Its a poor memory. However, if I remember right, CO AR-15 changed hands, and all the dormant accounts were deleted. YES?-NO?
Thanks,
Dave
