    Default What would you do?

So a guy moved in next door, him and his buddy walk around outside his house like it's the wild west packing heat in side holsters. My wife can't believe it and is throwing a fit to call the cops. I told her maybe they are cops ( we can all spot a cop and no cop would be flashing a gun while he was moving) or better yet they could be dog the bounty hunters. So my question is what is the concealed weapons law ? You can carry a gun 24/7 wherever you want?

It's called open carry in that case and I believe that's perfectly legal on private property so long as they're not brandishing or menacing anyone with their firearms.

I'd personally be happy that there were other firearm owners in the neighborhood and probably strike up a conversation with them.

They're on private property in a municipality that doesn't ban open carry. Say hi and move on.

They aren't breaking any laws. Please do not call the cops on them. Make sure your wife doesn't either.

To put it simply... they're not doing anything wrong, they're minding their own damn business and you should too.
No offense, but people like your wife (and you if you're bothered by this) are a problem. The neighbors aren't doing anything illegal, open carry is perfectly legal (outside of Denver county), hell I always OC when I walk my dog at late night. Not to mention they're on their own land.
Be glad you have backup close by if you need it.

I don't take offense to your reply. I'm good with everyone having the gun of there choice as for back up on the block I will be sure to let them know I'm here for them as I hope they will be for me . I do see my wifes point with kids playing all over and not a good showing as your moving in.

Kids playing doesn't matter. If your finger isn't on the trigger, the gun isn't going to fire.
