thats why i asked before i put a gun on the hip . personally id rather oc so everyone (bad people) knows my resolve . denver is back asswards in so many ways . how can colorado kick so much ass as a state and denver suck balls at the same time . so far i blame hippies , homos and libratards .

I had always believed that if it's a state law that the municipalities have to follow or respect it. Such as the town of Northglenn can't refuse to acknowledge a state law... isn't this what Denver is doing? I've known for a while now that Denver is against OC and made it illegal, but it's legal everywhere else, which is dumb and I think we should rally to change that.

I sort of agree with this statement, but from a completely non snarky perspective. It's supposed to be legal to do so if you have a CCW but I have also read and heard about people getting harassed for doing it. My curiosity would be in what YOUR experience is after you did it for a while.
I love the idea of open carry as a statement of "yes, I am protected under the constitution and am exercising my rights" but don't like advertising that I have a weapon nor do I want to be harassed by the cops for any reason. I'm no martyr, I don't plan on You Tubing a video of me cracking wise with a cop over my knowledge of the law.
