    Default New tattoo idea...

So I know a lot of you guys on here aren't pro-tattoo, so your input is a moot point falling on deaf ears... but for those of you that are, I would like some input. I'm wanting to get a new tattoo probably on my back but would like some opinions on what kind of lettering and where the hell I go to get it that is a good quality reputable place...
    Here's what I want:
    "Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum"
The Latin phrase meaning "If you wish for peace, prepare for war." It will probably go on my upper back/shoulder area. I was thinking like some sort of script type lettering like olde English style, but not sure of any good shops to get it done at since my old artist moved out of Colorado while I was stationed out of state.
    Thanks.

Can't help you on that one. The one and only tattoo I have is a set of airborne wings from when I was a lowly E1

Mantra Tattoo off wads and colfax 303.239.8282, ask for Ben. Personal friend of mine (for almost 20 years) . If he feels like he is not the best person in the shop to do it he will refer you. Also he is one hell of a normal artist if you want to get his opinion of it.

Sounds sweet. But a word of caution: I have some Latin on my left tricep. EVERYBODY that sees it asks what it means. People probably won't see yours as much since it's on your back, but be prepared to do some translating for everybody that does.

Good luck finding an artist. I'm new in town so I don't know anybody, but if you find a good one let me know. My wife and I both want to get some new ink.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

+1 on this. I have 2 latin tattoos and EVERYBODY that sees em asks what they mean.
Dark Millennia on Broadway and Quincy. Van (the owner) does some damn good work, is OCD about the shop being clean, and is a gun/jeep guy. And, unless he thinks you're a douche he usually gives you a pretty good price on his work (usually lower than what he quotes prior to starting)... but don't tell him I told you that.

Get a big "W" on each asscheek. Then when you do cartwheels it'll say "wow mom wow!"

Yeah, I know. It's an oldie, but someone had to say it......

Sniper, where did you find that! I've wanted an ode to CO tatted somewhere- probably on my calf- for a long time and that would be perfect. Mind if I add that to the pile of "to gets"?

I'm well aware of this, I have this:

I'm constantly translating to people what "Veritas/Aequitas" means, it can be annoying but it's whatever, it's my favorite tat.
