Starting the "Zombie Gun" project.

Don't get too exited yet, the project has just begun. Starting with my Stoeger 2000 semi-auto 12 gauge. Just ordered a magazine extension tube from Nordic Components today. Hopefully it will arrive later this week. Capacity after installation will be 8+1 or 9+1 if I "ghost load" the weapon. That's right, 10 rounds of 12 gauge on hand to fend off the undead. Here is a "before" picture. Will update with photos as the project goes along and will probably shoot a little video when it is done.

Will do. I should have the magazine extension later in the week. I will get that installed and take a picture and then I plan on getting with BPTactical and having him shorten the barrel to be even with the magazine tube. Then I will have a tritium front sight installed and will need to order a clamp to go between the magazine extension and the barrel for added stability. Then... who knows.

Magazine extension tube shipped from Cactus Tactical today. Hopefully will have it in a few days. I will install it and take a picture before I get in touch with BPTactical about cutting the barrel back to be even with the tube.

The magazine tube extension showed up today. Seems to be a very nice piece. I installed it and gave BPTactical a call and will take it to him tomorrow to see about having the barrel shortened to be even with the magazine tube. Will update this post as things progress.
