I apologize for not knowing the technical term for things.
I'm curious though, I see a lot of hollow point semi-auto rifle ammunition online, specifically for ak's, and it's almost always cheaper than the regular ammo.
I know for pistols, hollow point/personal defense is always more expensive. What are the reasons hollow point ammo is cheaper for semi-auto rifles? Are there feeding issues? What about the ballistics as far as damage done and penetration for human tissue and buildings/cement/etc?
