Suggestions for a lake?

Buddy wants to go fishin on Saturday. Need suggestions for a nice lake that's good to fish at, secluded enough to shoot at, and accessible with a boat trailer.

I can not think of lake with a boat ramp where you can shoot on the land around it. Most the ones in the national forest where you'd be able to shoot don't have boat access. The majority that do are on State / Municipal park land and have a ban on shooting. On the other hand Cherry Creek has fish in it, a boat ramp and there is also a shooting range on the park grounds... It is a pay range though.

Mtns or prairie works fine.
The shooting part is a must though... we aren't planning on using hooks and bait to catch the fish

Depending on the size of the boat-Tarryall reservoir. About 20 miles east of Jefferson. When you are done fishing head up above to the west and find a safe shootin spot.

Can we shoot at the reservoir? Like I said, this is an essential part of it... we aren't fishing the quiet peaceful way.

We prefer Hornady.
I've never done er this way before, but my buddy apparently has so I guess it works and it does sound like fun.
