Sung, the F1 circle is tighter than a gnat's ass. Most of those little shits (drivers) are born with a platinum spoon shoved deeply in their ass but I digress. I can't help you out with the school but I'm sure it'll be a hell of an experience.

I know the guys from American Dreams from cars and coffee, but I don't know about the race school.
They seem to be stand up guys and well respected in the exotic car circles.
I've been toying with the idea of renting a F430 from them for the weekend
I can't add anything constructive about the school, either.
But I can say if it's something you want to do and you have the means, do it. You may not get another chance. Life has a way of interfering with dreams.

Thanks guys.
As Graves said, F1 is a tight group of people full of politics and business.
Manufacturers are heavily involved with teams, and they expect a result fast.
Their budgt use to be crazy as it gets. I think Ferrari use to spend about 120million USD just on aerodynamics and wind tunnel for Scuderia Ferrari team? Not to mention other teams like McLaren Mercedes' budet.![]()
I understand the need for speed, and to totally get all you can out of a machine... If you want to start right and do it the right way... (so you don't end up being lapped 3 or 4 times by other racers on one session) start with'em go-carts like ones at IMI motorsports or the on at centennial... if you can convince yourself that you know your lines (race lines, brake lines, acceleration lines, passing lines, etc...), and feel able to go faster... try out a shifter cart and with front rotor brakes... that would be the closest thing to an actual F1 cart. You can learn so much from these carts... Most F1 racers (Michael Schmacher, Andretti's, etc..) took this exact path, but of course when they were around 4 year old... but I would suggest you try taking the same path... it will save you cash in the long run and the embarrassment of tearing up an actual F1 cart... and when you apply all that you learned from the carts on the day you decide to check out this race school... you'll probably be kicking ass and taking names.

Slinging coconuts since ever since...
To bad they don't do this at High Plains Raceway... I would definitely try it out... get to stretch'em legs out... probably top-out the cart on the straight away...![]()

Was thinking of getting my friends lightly modded 08 Lancer and my 08 R32 out to high plains during one of the weekday free days. Any comments cool/lame impressions of the place. Never been there so don't want to blow $100 or whatever it was each for nothing.
High Plains is a very challenging road course with all sorts of elevations, fast and slow turns, and a long ass straight away... I've been on that track a handful of times with my race bike and it is always a treat whether I blow $100 on a track day or $700 on a race weekend. It is always humbling for me to also top out my bike on the straight hitting going well over 180 MPH and to watch the faster guys just fly right by me like I was just standing still.
Is it worth spending the money? It depends what your going out there for... but for me.. it is worth every penny.
The only time they have a free track day is in X-Mas.![]()
