Further proof that Jon Stewart is freakin' awesome when he's not limiting himself by being a mouthpeace for the DNC.

Why is it that every other GOP candidate feels like their Tea Party love-affair will end as soon as they take office?

I would argue that Bachman and Cain are genuinely "Tea Party" folk ... Rick Perry I'm not sure about yet.

Why does the Tea Party ignore Ron Paul? That bit I really can't understand.

Its his pacifistic/isolationist side that costs him legitimacy among both the Tea Party and the GOP.

When a foreign organization kills 3000 Americans and your response is "Well I wouldn't do nothin' 'bout that" you lose. Period.

Keep in mind that I really like Ron Paul, but I don't trust him to be "Commander in Chief" of the US armed forces (not that I trust 'Bama either) ... and frankly I still would like him to stay in Congress (or maybe run for Senate) where he actually does some good. As president he'd have 4 years of lame duck grid lock and then go away completely.
