Default I need a place to take my daughters

Looking for somewhere close to Metro Denver. I would like a spot where I can spend some time with them teaching them to shoot without alot of people. Probably just take a .22 to start. I need a place I can get to with the mini van. Any Ideas? Thanks

It's a long drive, but this is a wonderful place to shoot damn near anything you want except artillery. www.blgc.org Very private, you can usually have a range all to yourself as long as you want. Very easy to join, and the facilities are improving every day. You can even camp and picnic there if you want, RV hookups too. I highly recommend it!

You can drive anywhere on the property with any vehicle you have. I especially like being able to drive right up to the impact berms to setup and retrieve all my target crap, I don't like schlepping armloads of stuff back and forth. Very well maintained place. Not even much of a bug problem. Only real problem is it can get kinda windy there.

I live in Parker, and it's just under an hour away for me.

If you are interested in an indoor facility I strongly recommend TriggerTime Gun Club in Longmont. It's Very clean, well lit, well managed, and staffed by friendly people.

I am way north of you and belong to this club http://www.wcfw.org/
week days are almost vacant with shooters vs. the weekend. If you were up for the drive, you could make it a day event and be my guest.
