I'm with ya here. I never did read the comics, but the series has been kick ass.

during an amputation the blood vessels contract.
having a child cut from your abdomen with a dull pocket knife is a bit more traumatic to the core organs.

I called it as soon as I saw the hammer (those who have read the comics know), I got excited and said "Tyreese has finally arrived!" I wonder if they'll show the gym scene...
I don't think Daryl and Merle die, especially with the sneak peek of the 2nd part of the season in Feb that they showed. Glen says "What the hell is he doing here" or something like that, and it has to be that Merle makes an appearance with his brothers, since it's obvious his loyalties are no longer with the Governor after being sold out. Can't wait, but Feb is so far away!

I agree that Feb is too far away. I almost gave up on the show last season but it has really come back big. By now the zombies are scenery. The survivors and their conflicts are the interesting parts.

They are having a Walking Dead marathon on New Years Eve of Seasons 1 and 2. I was going to buy both seasons but going to do the marathon now.

I've always wondered this... South Park takes 6 days to set up each episode (8-10 weeks for most other animated shows), and they take breaks like they're on a union clock. This season has been completed with filming for months now, and yet they're doing a mid-season break. It's like they can't show these shows during the holidays or something. It's silly, hell, PigMan took two months off between seasons, why can't TWD do this?

This season did kick some serious ass. I have to say, it was the first time watching a show that I felt a but bummed that it wouldn't be on next week..... I will have to fend the zombies off the best I can here.

Because too much of a good thing, and it wears thin. We humans are geared at a cellular level to disregard over-stimulus. We also crave and enjoy anticipation, sometimes even more than the actual thing.
