Merle a plant? I'm not thinking so.

I see him either conforming with Darryl and the group, or leaving out on his own. Remember he was surprised to find out that his dad had beaten Darryl as badly too. I think that was a point to remember about Merle's character. That and now he knows that Darryl came back to look for him on the roof, but he had already cut his hand off. I think he realizes that he doesn't need to be an asshole anymore and there is still something good about living in the world they have now.

I actually prefer more intelligent human drama, conflict, good story, writing, acting, etc. to straight up action-only, so maybe there's hope...

I thought last night's episode was one of the best in long time (and far better than any episode of the entire 2nd season). Well done. Anyone know how many more episodes are left this season? I just hope they have enough time for Andrea to buy the farm.

There are some rough parallels to the comic but they've also veered hard in other places. Makes me excited to see where the story goes for the show.

A guy at work had the comic book prior to the start of season 3 on TV and I read through it. It is definitely interesting to see the cross over and it keeps me guessing each episode what will happen next.

That was one of the better episodes, possibly the best. I've got my ideas about how the stories are going to converge but I'll keep that to myself.

I thought it was a great episode too, Blacklabel and Blockhead.

I think it was 8 episodes before the break, to be followed by another 8. I might be wrong about that.

Griebel, you might be able to get an indication from the book series, but I think they deviate too much when it comes to the series on TV. I don't know, but I know I'm sucked into the whole damn thing.. lol

Damn, this past episode was awesome. Great way to end that particular story arc.
