    The part that worried me the most is how Carl acted about getting the new members of the group, he saw them only as a burden.

    Yes. Obviously a teaser for next season, but he is a little full of himself asshole IMHO. A few smacks of reason from dad might cure that shit (no ACLU or teachers union to judge your parenting skills there).
