Until you start to lose ratings / audience. You basically have from apocalypse until eternity. People will bore long before you run out of story, may as well serve teh best drinks first, and all that.

Interesting , but you know well if ratings show any kind of substantial decrease in viewers, producers and writers will certainly hear about it, and try and adjust accordingly. IMO the series is plenty safe right now. Next season is already guaranteed....maybe the discontents might start liking it more again.........next season? Even if I wasn't happy with it now, I wouldn't write it off yet when there is another season to come yet.

Admittedly that is where I'm at. All the rumors from comic book fans of how much worse it is going to get keeps me interested despite this season being, for the most part, a big snoozer.
BUT, I tend to get to the show around 7:15 or 7:30 so I see no advertisements anyway.


I've heard other rumors that they were talking about writing a parallel show elsewhere in the US/World. We know what Georgia is like. So, what did happen to "Nebraska?" Or anywhere else?
I'm also not sure why they don't make their way towards the Coast and look for an island. Tybee? Hilton Head? Clear the place, fortify, start growing some food…..

J L .. I heard some scuttle butt about another version of the series as well, but that was some time back.

FWIW...I'm not into the series to see if what the characters are doing, are the things that *I* would try to do, if I were in that situation. There's a ton of stuff I'd do differently. I like to see where the writers head with it, and leave it at that...enjoy for what it is. There might be a point where I get to where you are now, but I'm not yet.

Season Four a barn burner?..uh, no. Could have been better? uh, yeah.

There's been enough character changes, and plot twists and all that...to keep me In It.

Ok, so I don't have regular cable. I watch it on XBMC, and do't come in here because I don't want to read a spoiler, before i get to see it released on XBMC. The last few episodes seem to be a little slow, and lame; hope they pick it up a bit. Can't believe they offed the kids already; should have just let them go down in the raid instead.
