Just saw two Warthogs fly over Littleton headed east. EFFIN awesome!!!! I am so happy they are on our side. Otherwise we'd be in deep shit!!

After I got back from DS1 there was a group that would fly NOTE over my house in KS every weekend for about 5 months.
One of my neighbors said that he thought the sound was awful. I explained that when one was on the ground standing on sand that it was the best sound ever.
There is nothing like the sound on an A-10 close in. Just like thunder I could go to sleep by that sound.

Saw two of 'em doing strafing runs in Korea during an exercise in 1982 (Cope something-or-other...slips my mind now).
I'll never forget the sound of that gun.

Around 5pm I saw what looked like a plain white F-20 Tigershark fly over south Aurora heading north
