    Question Geeks in the woods?

Came across this when reading up on current laws. Wonder if this particular section is a result of somebody caught practicing already, or as insurance before it happens?

Civilian technology, as I have seen on TV, apparently has progressed to the point of non-operator controlled, self guided robotics. What I want to know is, where do I get a non user controlled, self reasoning robot? Can I get a small fur-bearers license or big game tags for it, as no section code currently apparently exists? Imagine, venison harvested from a fully automated tree-stand while you stay warm at camp. Thought I drank too much between stands now!

Let the traditionalists howl at that!

I have seen some youtube videos at some point of robots with guns for hunting purposes. I will try to find again.

Edit: You couldn't use a robot like that because according to the big game regs the hunter must be "present".

I can’t remember where I saw/heard it, but this is kinda the way to hunt coyotes somewhere. You sit at home, pay a fee, and use your mouse as a trigger. Not sure if that’s 100% accurate or not, like I said, can’t remember where/when I picked that up.

I remember seeing something like that but I thought it ended up just being a hoax.

Ever seen Shooter? That wasn't just some cool little movie prop. Precision Remotes, Inc. makes them.

There were some places in Texas that had stands setup with remote guns controlled over the internet. I think I heard about one in CO too.

I'll take one for my roof! Might even have to get one of those new- fangled smart phones to control it.
