Android for sure, I have the HTC G2 and it great. It has a flip out keyboard and great battery life, way longer than the HTC My Touch. + free ballistic app...
If your post count is higher than your round count, you are a troll.
I'd have to say the best bang for your buck now-a-days, and you can do much more than the iSuck: Motorolla Droid X2, you can watch YouTube and any other type of video on it, download music, pictures, upload pictures and record video in HD, 8MP camera, battery on any smart phone could be better but charge every night and you'll do fine. Also it has bluetooth, GPS, and WIFI, all enable/disable to save battery when you don't need it. Overall, I'd say the best smart phone. Did I mention, any android powered phone has most of it's apps free? I have a ballistic computer for my Droid X (I want the X2) that works. It does so much, talk to the Verizon guys and they'll show you. HTC is good, but they are way fragile and I've heard battery life is pretty terrible, even for a smart phone.

Ive got the Droid X on Verizon. I love it, the signal, battery life, HD Video and pics, easy to use. I recommend it, and it crushes friends iphones on head to head downloads. Droid ftw!![]()
Thanks for posting the question HBAR. I have the "original" Motorola Droid, which was the phone to have a couple years ago, but is now starting to show its age. The phone is now having a hard time mounting the SD card, along with the headphone jack not connecting properly. I use my phone for music and taking pics, as much as any other function, so this puts a huge damper on things lol. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to stay with a Droid platform, or try out the Iphone 4. Looking forward to some more input.
I have a droid incredible, and I think it's my favourite phone to day (even over my former iPhone, and moto droid)

Just wait a couple weeks, there'll be some other new, whiz-bang phone to lust after. I personally don't have the patience or brain-power to mess with 'em. To me, phones are for talking on. Life as a geezer.....
And that is what I do the least of on mine. I have the smallest number of minutes that Verizon offers, and probably only use 2% of them lol. If you listen to a lot of music, share media, get online a lot etc. There is no reason not to own a smart phone. Doesn't make sense to have a "data device" and then a separate phone, just because phones are strictly for talking on. If you don't do anything other than talking on the phone, then by all means, may as well keep it simple/cheap.
Ah yep.
I have a base model Nokia with a camera. The only reason it has a camera is because there wasn't one without a camera.
The SO is in the process of getting another Iphone. The AT&T site has refurb Iphones for half price. She loves hers and it has lasted pretty well.
I am no fan of AT&T but if you want any kind of reception, in the mountains, it's the only way to go.
