Default Who knows about Titanium? $

Anyone know if there is a market for titanium? With gold out of site per ounce, and me not having any it got me thinking. A few years ago I broke a titanium rod in my back. They ended up going in and replacing everything from my ass to my neck. This time with some kind of special stainless steel. What was taken out they let me keep. It is all titanium, There are 2 rods about 18" long and about 40 screws and other hardware which are also titanium. I have been searching Google for days now and I just dont understand all the charts and price structures that are shown for the different metals. I know better than to go to one of the "We buy gold" shops because I don't know anything about prices. It may be worth didley but it also could be worth the price of a new gun too. Anyone know where I should start or how to go about finding what and if it is worth anything?

depending on who quotes you, medical grade TI i believe rates differently than "unfit for human consumption" Ti does.

Holy crap man, that's awesome/crazy. Like fucking Wolverine with half a skelton of Adamantium. Bet the reality of it sucked though.

As the previous poster mentioned it'd be an alloy of some kind, but still valuable. I'd google for specialty metal recyclers.
