Help with Arminius HW38
I bought this from GB and I want to put a different barrel on it I believe they just unscrew does anyone have any info about this, and I will post a picture of the barrel I want to put on it thanks.

Hell, for $20 I'd leave it like it is and make a hideaway piece out of it! Hide it in the garage somewhere or behind a toilet, something for emergency use. Helluva score for 20 clams, transfer probably cost more than that, huh?

My wife actualy bought it cause she thought it was a good deal, I probably would have purchased it for that but now she wants me to restore it, I have a gun coming so will only have to pay transfer fee once. I plan on trying to find a good finish in a can if such a thing exsists and put a longer barrel on it, any suggestions for a good rattle can finish would be great and if anyone knows if I can just screw out the old barrel and screw in the one in the picture. thanks.

I believe he's politely saying you can't polish a turd, and you can't teach a pig to sing. It's a cheap, ugly, beat-up pos, and will always be so. Don't put money into it trying to improve it, if it shoots safely as it is, leave it alone. Don't try to make it into something it's not.
Give it a range test and if it works, load it up and hide it someplace for emergency use. That's what I'd do with it anyway. Car gun, truck gun, toolbox gun, tacklebox gun, under-the-workbench gun, outhouse gun, etc.
