    Default CCW database

During a discussion with a friend concerning concealed carry and traffic stops. He was told by a member of CSPD that CCW information comes up when they check your driver’s license during a traffic stop. Does anyone know if this is true? The only thing I can find concerning a concealed carry database is an article from the Gazette and Denver Post from 12/2010 that says that submission to the database is not mandatory and some sheriff’s choose not to share CCW info. I also found a previous post from RMGO that said the database was supposed to go away last month. Can anyone clarify this?

The database was supposed to go away last month. RMGO was going to check on it but I have not heard the outcome.

Been discussed a few times already here. Do a search to find the threads.

Aww, that always made me a little less nervous during a stop because I knew exactly what the topic of conversation would be when he/she came back with my license..
