I drive through Canon City usually two or three times a year on Jeep trips, and yeah it is freaky having all those prisons there.

I will not pass up an chance to say that this state has the worst drivers I have ever seen, I have never seen so many car accidents in my life, man you guys can not drive worth a crap. It scares the crap out of me riding my motorcycle I have already been rear ended 2 times in my car. If you were to take all you colorado drivers and drop them off in California you guys would not make it back.

Sorry but DC has the absolute worst drivers in the nation. I've seen people cross 3-4 lanes of traffic to grab an off-ramp in about 50 feet, take a left turn from the right hand lane (on 4-6 lane highways), use the emergency shoulder as a passing lane (to bypass a half-mile of parking lot traffic), etc.
The bad drivers in Colorado seem to me to be transplants who can't get it through their thick skulls that this isn't New York, DC, Florida, Kalipornia, etc. The natives know how to drive in snow but a lot of transplants can't (not something I have a lot of sympathy with since I can drive in snow despite growing up in Hawaii).
