I was in the supply house a few years ago when some folks were complaining about out of staters moving in, particularly CA and TX. So I had to try to stir the pot and ask what they thought of Kansas people moving in. They just looked at me and said "no one gives a fuck about Kansas." lol

I guess you would rather to see a hi-tech company based in CO to fall behind in their effort to remain competitive because they cannot find a engineer that fits the job description locally, rather than their hiring someone from Missouri. Is that it?

If you want my job go apply for it. See if you are qualified.

No need to take your parking spot. We got plenty of empty spots already. In fact, all these spots would be empty if this company follows your line of thought. Once they fail to maintain their competitive edge, they will lose their market share, and they could end up closing business down for good, costing CO jobs and tax money. I bet you will like that, don't you?

Ah, a thread to stir the pot in!

Personally, I would like a Colorado Border Patrol with walls and gates and tourist visas for people from out of state to come visit, drop their money and be forced to leave! I would make the same requirements for companies to recruit from outside the state as it would be for federal immigration visas; you must have a skill that cannot be found in the local area for you to be able to migrate to Colorado. We have limited resources, land, air, water, to allow non-controlled immigration!

Mousegun87, I was at Fort Leonard Wood for a while and I can't say Missouri is much of a prize of a place to be from. The weather is truly screwed up there!

    Okay, pot stirred!

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

I'm from the San Fernando Valley in So Cal. Home of rich, snobby, liberals with a huge sense of entitlement. I hated it there. Only reason i will ever be back is to visit my folks for the holidays.

I must say I agree with you, immigration needs to be controlled. As an immigrant myself, I had to prove to the US Gov. that I am worthy to have a permanent visa to live and work here. I must prove that my skill set is rare (and it is). Don't forget to make mandatory background check ... and I mean a deep background check that goes all the way back when you were 14 yrs of age. The background check that I went through makes the NICS check looks like peanuts in comparison.

No arguing there, Missouri has some of the most fucked up weather in the country. But, I am used to seeing lots of green vegetation, woods, tall trees, and thickly grown grass. These things are not that plentiful here in the Front Range area. I miss walking in the woods in the Ozarks. Another thing that takes some getting used to in CO is the dry air .... cannot say I like Missouri's high humidity, but it takes some getting used to with the dry climate. I guess the dry climate is good for storing firearms and ammo.

I love Colorado, I think it would be better if it had a couple beaches and we had the Raiders though. Honestly. Oh and a Krystals. How cool would that be!
