Damn dude. I seen the SAME thing with a friend not TWO WEEKS AGO!

You need to cut the trigger guard off, then make a VERTICAL cut, perpendicular with the pin. It will make it alot easier to remove.

PM me your address Ill send you a new one

Also, Turn the Dremel about 7 or 8, GO S-L-O-W!

Let the Dremel do the work.

This is not a bad idea. Its not a terribly difficult fix, you CAN do it yourself.

Just ask yourself if you want scratches or not. I really dont mind them. My rifles are covered.

If you go slow and take your time, you should have nothing to worry about.

    Me have hammer, me fix.

OP- shoot me a PM-we can get ya fixed up-if you choose to try it yourself be very careful, the "ears" for trigger guard are quite fragile.
Then you will say some very bad words.

Oh- and the hammer comment is directed at my self DT-not you.
I have a bit of a standing "Hammer" joke with a couple of the guys here.

Hammers are the best tools. If it weren't for hammers, I never could have put those pesky square pegs in those round holes as a child.
