OK im an idiot,now what!!

Ok i did it,yes i put my trigger guard on backward (roll pin where detent goes) on my stripped lower,was not payin attention,so laugh hahahaha(there are a few who have done the same),so how do i remove the roll pin that is now sticking out about a 1-16th or so??should i cut it with a dremmel being VERY CAREFUL not to cut into reciever?any ideas, anyone BP TACTICAL? anyone,also who has a trigger guard and roll pin for sale.....

Damn dude. I seen the SAME thing with a friend not TWO WEEKS AGO!

You need to cut the trigger guard off, then make a VERTICAL cut, perpendicular with the pin. It will make it alot easier to remove.

This is not a bad idea. Its not a terribly difficult fix, you CAN do it yourself.

Just ask yourself if you want scratches or not. I really dont mind them. My rifles are covered.

If you go slow and take your time, you should have nothing to worry about.

OP- shoot me a PM-we can get ya fixed up-if you choose to try it yourself be very careful, the "ears" for trigger guard are quite fragile.
Then you will say some very bad words.


Oh- and the hammer comment is directed at my self DT-not you.
I have a bit of a standing "Hammer" joke with a couple of the guys here.

I must say thanks to all for the responses,now i need to decide whos going to fix it,myself the at home gunsmith,or a qualified gunsmith,hhmmm how much am i looking at to get this fixed by a pro???again thanks to all who responded
