    Default Torx Wrench size

Anyone know the smallest size they go to? I have a mount Im tryin to take off, smallest I have is a T8 and it too big.

Im startin to get irritated. Why would they use something so small on a weapon light? (oh ya its on a weapon light) Its a Surefire mount.

    Stupid torx

    They go pretty small.

Do yourself a favor and go buy a descent full set of metric and standard

I have a retarded small (picture a straight pin carved into a star on the end) one that came in an Ipod repair kit....I don't have a clue what size it is though.

There is a driver bit set you can get at harbor freight that has tons of different bits like that. comes in a red box about 7"x4". I got it for working on electronics and knives but it works on everything - even had torx bits small enough for kershaw and crkt knives so I am guessing it would work for you. Just be aware - they are cheap and will break if you torque on them too much.

I just got it. Got the dremel out and put a flat edge on both sides of the bolts so I could use a pair of needlenose.

What the hell is jewelry size bolts doing on a weapon light?

with small torx bits in a jam a standard or metric allen head will do. Most auto stores offer tool loaners. Walk in drop a few dollars, rent it, do what's needed then get your deposit back.

I've got a 5 and 4 that were purchased to work on pocket knives.

had a hell of a time finding them, looked at ho pot and radio shack... nothing.

found what I needed at ACE.

T1 is the smallest I have, and all Torx fasteners, no matter the size, will add 75.6 new & unique curse words to your curse word arsenal per use.

I learned a few new ones ten minutes ago. Especially after the pliers slipped
