So we have like 4 kinds of mint growing on the patio ... and here I am with all this Maker's ... so I tossed some fresh mint leaves into the bottom of a glass ... bruised them with a pestal ... tossed a spoon full of powdered sugar in and enough water to cover it ... mixed well ... tossed in some ice and a shot of maker's and there you go, one quick and dirty Mint Julep.



Now if I could just find some horse racing on tv (ifn only I had me a nice white suit and bolo tie).
