Security guards at banks are shot because they are known and the bank gets cased before the robbery. I seriously doubt anyone cases a gas stations, anymore than just waiting till it is empty, further increasing the likely that you wouldn't be put in that situation any way. Also a security guard is dressed a certain way, and most dumb shit criminals are not going to expect, or even look for Joe Sheepdog having a gun on him.

Bert, if it were easy to preserve our rights, then everyone would do it all the time and it would never be an issue. Unfortunately, it is not easy, and someone still has to do it. So if it's not for you (not you Bert, but you in general), then that's fine, but don't give people like CO Luckydog a hard time about it, because he's doing the stuff that benefits you while you avoid the issue.

I don't recall giving anybody a hard time-it's their choice to carry (or not carry) how they wish.
I must say the majority of times I have seen somebody OC in public they have seemed to "flaunt" the fact of carrying. It is one thing to OC but when they purposely make sure EVERBODY see's they are carrying and they think their shit is cool they look silly and don't promote things in the best light.
I'm just more of a discreet person in that capacity I guess...................

Sure you can probably open-carry all f'in day and no one will notice, but I say why tempt fate?
