    Default Loaner Shotgun SARPA

Looking for some advice on a loaner shotgun. I am planning on buy a cheap shotgun to take some friends hunting who do not have a shotgun. They would be using it to perform generic bird hunting, up to geese. I have been thinking of buying a SAR pump action with a 28 inch barrel, 3" mag chamber. The SAR takes Beretta choke tubes. My dealer can supply this at $213 after taxes.
Does any one have any experience with these? Will they perform the function of a decent occasional loaner gun?
    Thanks in advance.

    Here's a prairie arms link.
I have an 870, but I am looking for something cheap to kick around.
    Thanks for the advice!

Maybe I've been living under a rock for a while, but can't you get a new Mossberg 500 (or at least a Maverick 88) on sale for around or under $200?

I have seen some good deals on the NEF "Pardner" when it goes on sale. As I understand, it is basically a Remington 870 knock-off and is supposed to be a solid gun.

    Default mossberg 500

I can get a mossberg 500 for about $300.00 after taxes, and a mav 88 for about $225.00.
I guess the question I have is what are the differences between the mossberg 500 and the maverick 88? I do like the fact that the mav 88's are made in the US.
