    Default hickory house?

    Is it good? Need a place to stop between 225 and parker on 83?

    Decent place yes. Not outstanding BBQ. But good when you are not going to make your own.

    Big Jim's is good BBQ too. I liked the ribs and sausage, his sausage is spicy. Chicken was a bit dry. The pork sandwich is chopped chunks, not pulled as I prefer. So I recommend the ribs and sausage at Jim's.

    We love this place. Great ribs, beef is ok, pork is really good, fries are outstanding, onion rings are average, beans need some work. i hear the prime rib is good, but have never had it. Remember to take your drink cup home!

    I don't dine out that often so I am not much help. To me none of it is as good as what I can make myself. My choice would be seafood which is my favorite and is so hard to get good/fresh seafood in Colorado. Many restaurants on Cottonwood Dr. (Parker and E470) one of which is Joe's crab shack.
