they did it for free. im not sure if it was a favor to me or if they do it for anyone at that price. i do spend a lot of money in there so it could have been a favor. tell them shawn from shrapmetal sent you. it might help it might not. i do think lawrence takes weds off so call first if your going down today.

Most likely the laquer coating has glued the case to the chamber walls.

Then, never buy wolf or any coated ammo again.
brake or carb cleaner will also break down the coating. Let it sit there for a little. and then tap it out with a solid rod. This is the same problem i had with a bolt rifle a couple years ago and it even had a nato spec chamber on it, that coated ammo is bad ju ju. At the time it happened to me, and after breaking a GI cleaning rod, I went to lowes and bought a brass dowel rod. they sell alum and brass rods you could probably use either or, take a pair of calipers with you so you get one that will fit. Cut it so its only a couple inches longer than your barrel. I poured a bit of marvins mystry oil down the barrel and let it sit for a couple of hours. It came out without to much issue after that, but still was a PITA.
That reason alone is why i dont buy steel ammo for any of my 5.56/.223 guns. I will run it through my AK's with no issue but none of my AR's any more. Its the only issue i have ever had with it but that was enough.

Next time you might just try some CLP or other lubricant and let it sit in the barrel a while. Then LIGHTLY tap on the back of the case with a cleaning rod. No hard hits, no hammering just "coax" it out.

That method has worked for me every time that's happened.

Just had this happen yesterday on my Stag.... poured a 1/2 cap of solvent down the barrel and tapitty tapitty - no luck - waited a few hours and came back - viola - it tapped right out.
Now - do I need a chamber brush to clean the chamber or... what.

I have had this happen with wolf, but not as bad as you guys had it. After I tapped it out i used a part of my cleaning rod and a chamber brush and a cordless drill and went at it and it cleaned it up good. Did this happen after a few mag went through it?

you guys need to stop using wolf ammo in ARs. this can't be good on your chamber.
