    It's called the union...

Get public employees out of the union, that would solve a lot of these problems.

I am really amazed that public unions are allowed to exist.

In Tucson years ago, the FD went on strike, seriously...

A private dept. stepped up and ran their calls, and the city dept. has been resentful sense as the private dept. functionally busted their strike.

should have fired every one of them in my opinion.

Even that champion of labor unions and other unsavory collectivist crap, Franklin Roosevelt, was opposed to public-sector unions. He even warned of the abuses we are now seeing...

OK< I Get that the department had previously disciplined the officers and that the department could not in turn discipline them a second time for the same issue.
Don't agree, but its their rules, whatever.

Why aren't they in Orange jumpsuits in front of a judge facing charges?
    Is our DA Absent?

Because they are part of the elite ruling class. So is the DA.
