Does not surprise me at all. I am sad, very angry, even depressed when I think of the future of our wilderness especially here in Colorado. I feel overrun, invaded, ripped off, taken advantage of, and I am sure there are a few other expressions and or feelings I just can't even seem to come to terms with right now.

It feels like there is nowhere you can go anymore here in Colorado that isn't over used, over populated, and anymore just completely trashed. I think and dream of years and days gone by when this state was pristine and not so overrun. To many people here now and most of which who couldn't care less about preserving our natural resources.

You're right alxone, it's a loosing battle for sure! I will have some time after the 15th to help out after I take back possession of my house and finally get the renters out. Then I will be free!

Keep us posted on clean up times, dates and locations. I'm stuck financially at the moment from doing much to help cleanup. Once the wife has her employment figured out, I'm in for truck, trailer and labor to help if within reasonable fuel costs. 10mpg sucks.

Reminds me of hearing about the years Dick Lamm was Governor. He discouraged people moving in here, overdevelopment, and so on. People whined about him stifling economic development...I'm thinkin' he had the right idea.

I know of a place that is pretty dirty, but also very small and very close to town if you are interested Alex. I'd say it is a one day, one pick up truck bed kind of job. You'd still want a rake and a few people though. PM me and I'll give you the details.

There's a public range in Keystone, at the landfill. I've stopped there to pickup brass a couple of times and pop a few rounds, but that place is a mess too. I don't know if the town or county cleans it up, but it sure could use a good cleaning. There's even a dumpster right there on-site too. But the altitude will eat you, I thought I was gonna die just bending over grabbing brass. But since it's a public range provided for the locals, I kinda think the locals should do the volunteer cleanupo duty.
