To keep going, what about State property? Today I attended a meeting at a State agency that houses in a leased building that also houses some parts of CBI.

Prior to entering I had already decided to leave "empy" in the car. I did not see any signs, metal detectors, etc; however, I did have to sign in and get a visitor's badge.

My wife's the same way... she's not only OK with me carrying, but makes sure my cover garments are working and isn't afraid to tell me when it ain't.

She always qualifies it with "well, I KNOW what I'm looking for" and I have to keep telling her "If you don't see it on first glance, most of the sheep out there will never know..."

It's good to have an SO that literally has your back :-)

Want to play a fun game? "Spot the CCW guy" is a BLAST, especially in places like Wal-Mart or the local coffee shop. A couple favorites...

* the guy who's a "L" shirt with a bit of a gut wearing a 3XL button-up shirt almost down to his knees -- bends over at the waist to show everyone the butt of his gun tenting obscenely at his 4:00

* the obvious civilian bedecked in every piece of 5.11 apparel he could get his hands on -- all in matching tan -- obviously trying to conceal a "duty" holster under a tactical vest or "tactical" button-down shirt. You don't even need to see the gun... just look for the 5.11 tag on the right cargo pocket. If he's in shape and has a short haircut, probably a cop. If he's 20 pounds overweight and nervously checking out everyone who walks in the room, it's a safe bet his CHP hasn't even cooled off yet.

My girlfriend always makes sure my shirt is pulled down over mine lol. Its awesome, if she puts her arm around me and my shirt moves even a little, she grabs it and pulls it down hahaha.
