I personally really don't worry about printing. I am pretty skinny yet I am able to carry a full size 1911 without issue.
The one time somebody spotted it-my T shirt rode up a bit and exposed the muzzle. The chick in line behind me asked me if I was a cop. I asked her "why, did you do something wrong?"
Now if somebody asks if it is a firearm I will tell them the truth.
As far as where you can and where you can't: in Colorado a private entity/property has the right to forbid firearms on their property.
The most important thing to be learned from those who demand "Equality For All" is that all are not equal...

If you are a skinny dude, just buy a few cheap fluffy boy summer shirts for cover garments to help you get over the "my gun is printing phobia".
I though Post Offices were not "federal" as they received no federal funding? They don't have signs.

I have an abnormally long torso so finding shirts that are long enough is an issue. I jsut try and keep my bending over or kneeling to an minimum. i also have to carry at 4:30 for comfort
