    Default Is Printing a problem?

Couple general questions that I cant find clarification for from other sources.. What are your thoughts?

    1. Printing your weapon.. Especially during Summer, lighter clothing means that your weapon can be Printed much easier. I'm pretty skinny, so no matter what holster I use (currently a Crossbreed Supertuck deluxe), my weapon seems to Print against my shirts pretty easily. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, because I KNOW its there, but it still worries me.. What are the possible consequences of someone complaining about it, if they see my weapon Printed? Even if it isnt actually exposed, just an outline through my shirt?

    2. Also want some clarification regarding the Carry Restrictions in "a place where the carrying of firearms is prohibited by Federal Law"... I have looked at almost ALL of the various counties info packets, and done many google searches worded many ways.. and I cannot find a definitive answer on where Federal Law prohibits carry? I know the obvious ones like Banks, and Post Offices, Gov offices, but where else?

    Thanks!

Banks are not covered under Federal or State law. Federal law would prohibit carry in Post Offices, Federal Offices, prisons, Federal courthouses, and military bases, unless specifically authorized.

Printing is not an issue anywhere open carry is allowed, as long as you are not "brandishing" the firearm or "menacing" anyone. My advice is not to worry about it, as most of the sheeple will either not notice it or ASSume that you are an LEO...

    1. If you have a CCW who cares if the cops are call to investigate?

    2. Banks are not included, but schools K-12 are.

99% of people are oblivious. If someone can identify your gun printing under your shirt, chances are they are carrying too. The rest of the time, people will not notice or assume it's a cell phone. If someone asks me, I will tell them it's an insulin pump. No one has asked me in 6 months I've been carrying.

Post office, government offices, schools (I think this is state law) and anywhere that is secured with a metal detector and guards I think. Probably more too.

Cool... so it doesnt sound as big of an issue as I thought it would be..

What about colleges? I know K-12 is illegal to carry, but I've read sources on both sides of colleges / trade schools, ect. Some say illegal, some dont include it on the restrictions.. but I've never seen anything explicitly say it is okay...?

Make sure your clothes are covering the gun and then try to put it from your mind. The more you touch it, adjust it, think about it the more obvious it will be. See my signature.

Colleges have their own policies, I don't think it's illegal though?

Just out of curiosity, does this apply to private schools as well? Sure they probably have their own rules, but would state/fed laws apply to them?

+1 on this. I can always spot people that are uncomfortable with their piece... "discreetly" adjusting it, glancing down at the area to check, etc. There was one at Wal Mart last night. Just don't worry about it, act normal, and you'll be fine.

On the subject of where you can/can't carry...
My rule is no metal detectors/pat downs = carry. So most fed. buildings, courthouses, etc. are a no-go, but other than that, I've got my gun on me. In metal detector/pat down places I carry other, more discreet weapons.

FYI: A tie die tee shirt works great too break up the outline and also no one would ever suspect a hippie would have a gun. I carry my G22 this way all the time, never had a problem.

If I did that, I'd have to kick my own @$$, and I dont think that qualifies as self-defense...

I didn't see a Save Tibet sticker on your truck so I didn't ask haha! I prefer plaid/flannel shirts.
