I moved this to the appropriate forum and fixed your title.

Yes these are, IMO, an excellent accessory. Some will complain about the bolt not being held back on an empty mag but I think the good out weight the bad(no pun intended) here. I love mine, and have them on more than one AR. I even have a spare in case I ever needed one.

Yes, it's a good product. I put on on one of my rifles for a little while but ended up removing it. I have been shooting AR style rifles for over twenty years and found that (for me) I was so used to running all of the functions the way they were designed that I seldom used the B.A.D. lever and often forgot it was there. I suppose if I practiced/trained with it more and really became used to it I would end up appreciating it.

I have one installed on my rifle and absolutely love it! Though I've read stories of people having them break off the paddle on their rifle that it attaches to, and then they have serious problems with their rifle.

Mine though locks the bolt back on an empty mag every single time! I think it helps the most with locking back the bolt to show clear without looking all awkward reaching around the front of the magwell to grab the paddle.

    I take it you're a lefty?

I do hear they make the AR a much more friendly platform for left handed shooters.

A shooting buddy talked me into trying one. I thought they were gay. After using one for a few days I decided they were in fact beneficial and have run one ever since. One thing to note. They can come loose and cause a functional problem. Be sure to use locktite.

    This^

I love mine, Its come in handy more than once when clearing malfunctions during a stage, or really just doing much of anything that involves locking the bolt back, or releasing it. (i.e. showing clear, mag changes, etc.)

Mine has come loose before, but some blue loctite did the trick.

For the money you spend on it, it will definitely make your life a lot easier.

I love those things. I hate that I run a full lefty build and can't use one.
