I read on fox 31 to not pay it worst comes to worst a cop comes to your house and you get the ticket
School zones I could see. The ones on Santa Fe and Monaco, parked on the sidewalk or in the grass, are simply revenue tools. Most speed limits are set arbitrarily low, particularly on some of the main arteries.

Now I remember running a yellow light in Pueblo, goddamn flash nearly blinded me. It was from a government condoned camera. Camera was supposed to capture those running red lights and then they issue a ticket.
I guess they won't take it down 'til somebodys
grandmother dies in a car wreck because she was blinded by the camera flash. Government run by corporations is fascism at it finest...
(cameras are paid for by Co.'s and .gov gives them a share of the fines)
The character of a man can be judged by how he treats those who can do nothing for him
And never paid a single one. All three went over the 90-day mark and nobody "breech, bang & cleared" my house to get me to pay it. However, I did find out that if you crinkle them up thoroughly, they are a good source for "emergency use" toilet paper. Thats what I think of photo "communist" radar and the Shity & Cunty of Denver.

The job of traffic enforcement belongs to the police. If she is served we will pay. Additionally, if I am ever directly written a ticket by a police officer for speeding, I will pay no questions asked (only been ticketed once in my driving life)
This happened during rush hour. We all know it is impossible to speed in Denver during rush hour. What should be a 25 minute commute becomes a 60 min hell for her during evening rush hour. 40MPH 1 block from a stop sign...please. She wasn't drag racing.
Which brings me to my update...
I drove by the area the ticket was issued from. The van was not there but what I did see was a permanent notice that photo-radar was in use...there is a small sign bolted to another sign...in DIRECT violation of the law that allows use of mobile radar vans. The law requires temporary signs.
They did not follow the law to even be there running radar in the first place. Technicality? Absolutely. But if you want to let the government regulate and ticket outside the law then have at it... technicalities are not tricks, they're what keeps the law in check.
A lot of assumptions here ^^^
-This was NOT from a photo-radar zone...it was a mobile enforcement unit.
-The area was NOT a school zone, it was residential, which along with school and construction zones are the only places where photo-radar can be used (this does not apply to the stop light cameras)
-No children were at risk and I will take offense if you were suggesting she would ever put any kids at risk...we are parents and both drive UNDER the speed limit in school zones. But I'll take your comment as a general one meant as a PSA rather than a direct accusation.
Thanks all for the input, I'll update in 90 days...if I can remember that long.
Good question. I don't know what the law for parking tickets says but the law for automatic photo-radar tickets doesn't allow them to do anything to you other than pay a fee for the cost of personally serving you. It doesn't allow them to tow or boot your car or even report the infraction to the DMV.
