I know it isn't in your calibers but lots of ammo available for goof prices. get a M1a. awesome guns, you can do a lot of mods, excellent accuracy, amazing reliability, great gun!
ps90 all day i love those things 5.7 is awesome
Who is familiar with the Galil? Whats the difference between a true Galil and a Golani? Anyone have any first hand experience with the Century Golani? I typically try to steer away from Century stuff.
ok so does it have to be black , poly , military , or are you just looking for a fun new toy ? my new toys are a fr8 an an amd65 , both bad ass although i have not shot the amd im sure it will be a blast
Doesn't necessarily have to be black. The FR8 I am ruling out- neat rifle but ultimately still just another Spanish Mauser. As far as the AMD65- that is the most hideous looking abomination of an AK I have seen. No offense meant. Just stating my own personal opinion.
Thank you all for the info.!![]()
I came in here to suggest an XCR, but it's probably out of the price range and I don't know how available they are.
Just call me 47
Yes, they're made in Cocoa, Florida. My experience with their customer service is limited to calling them with questions, but they have always been top-notch with their time and information. They offered to disassemble, clean, inspect, replace parts if needed, reassemble, lube, and test-fire a used P-11 I bought. They also have a lifetime warranty. Disclaimer: I do not work for Kel-Tec. I'm just a happy customer. I own the following:
P-32
P11 with P-40 conversion
PLR-16
PMR-30
Sub-2000 in Glock 17 configuration
Not a lemon in the bunch.

Now that's funny right there.
MSAR for the "something different" factor. Turn's heads everywhere you take it.
Galil/Golani- basically an AK in 5.56. A little on the heavy side, well built. It loses points for lack of parts interchangability, nothing from an AK will work on them, proprietary magazines which can be hard to find. You can find adapters which will allow AR mags but they are iffy on reliable function. The Golani is not built from IMI parts but rather South African R4 parts. I had one of the Golanis when they first released them. Decent rifle and was pretty accurate but mine was blessed with the ORF soft reciever, lugs started to show signs of defoRming around 500 rounds. Sent it back to Century and they replaced it no questions, shot the new one then ended up trading it off.
Don't totally discount Century-I don't see near the numbers of "Beaver Assembled" stuff I used to. I think they have snugged up their quality as of late. Hell Ray, my best shooting AK is a Century Yugo. Early one but still a Century rifle.
Just look them over real well and if something doesn't seem right, hand it back and check out another one.
