Ok, so i posted a pic of my FDE rig a few weeks ago when I completed the lower and installed the rail, and although she's still technically "in progress", here is current pic. I'm waiting on a flash hider.

Do it dude, you won't regret it, except maybe the price. Your carbine above, is perfect for it. Just be sure to knock out the sling swivel under the gas block first.
