Yep...Krylon works just fine for me. It's a tan base coat with the tan textured paint over the top (trying this out) and some brown sprayed on to break it up.Originally Posted by Kaiser.Shooter

Just finished Duracoating my TA31F ACOG in Magpul FDE. You should see it mounted on the matching Stag Arms Piston AR-15 I posted on page #10!

Got it!Terrible picture, but it's the best I could do until I can get some natural lighting.
Stag Arms Model-15 Piston with full Magpul FDE furniture. Rear sight MBUS, with Troy Folding Battle front sight as I read an MBUS on the gas block could melt with heavy use. Stripped the upper and lower then refinished it with Duracoat Magpul FDE. Been curing for about three weeks now, so should be ready to rock & roll.
It's much nicer in person, but you get the idea...

No particular reason, just curious.
You have, according to your past history really dug the FDE color, surprised you didn't coat the 308 in FDE.
Have you got to shoot the 308 yet with the new PWS comp on the front? Curious how well that one works with 308.
Speaking of shooting you got a chance to shoot the stag piston system yet?
