I don't know if this video was supposed to make me feel bad for this lady but I had the exact opposite reaction. It just pissed me off more. She is the typical product of institutionalised welfare. In her own words she says she's only been off food stamps once in her entire life. And that was for one year when she had a state job. I'm assuming it was just another form of assistance under the guise of a job. She even says that they have education and aspirations too. Right. In 40 or so years her education and aspirations have never motivated her to actually get off the govt tit and be a productive member of society.

What really gets me is her son. He's another one headed for a lifetime of govt assistance. When asked what his aspirations are, he says he wants 'High People' to come down and see how bad it is for them. Translated - I want more handouts so we can have a better life. Sigh. Maybe he should aspire to becoming a 'High Person' through hard work and determination. Or not.

I understand people sometimes need temporary help. I know what it's like to be so broke that you literally don't have 2 cents to rub together. But I will never understand or condone choosing a lifetime of dependency and bare subsistence on the backs of those willing to work. Every pay check I see the gigantic chunk of my earnings stolen from me so people like this can leech and it pisses me off.

And what's sad this lady actually doesn't think she's lazy or unmotivated. Others just haven't given her the right opportunities. I'm sorry, if you've been on welfare your entire life and you haven't had a steady job in 5 plus years (and you're not mentally/physically disabled), YOU ARE LAZY!

Rant over. Back to working my job so she doesn't have to.

This reminds me of my sister in law, real leach... She's not on the government teet but on the familys. She divorced he husband and moved her 4 kids into my brother in laws house and is the only person I have ever met that has a middle class lifestyle FOR FREE!

Let me list the things that are produced for her so she doen't have to get off her fat ass and actually work for a living;

Cell Phone (paid for by mother in law)
Daycare (kids stay with my mother in law during the day)
Food (Brother in law and mother in law)
SUV (paid for by ex)
Insurance for SUV (paid for by mother in law)
Gas (Mother in law)
Spending money (child support)
Clothes for her fat ass and the kids (mother in law)
Education for kids (ohh wait she home schools them LOL)
Health Ins for the kids (ex)

Ohh but in an effort to "Secure thier future" she went back to school...Instead of a major that will get hre a job and income fast to support her family she wants to get an anthropologie degree, yea that will pay off as soon as she finishes. Ohh I forgot she is using federal funding for her education that she will never use (or pay back) because she is too lazy.

Meanwhile my wife and I have to work 80+ hours a week, make our payments, pay for our education and still have to squeak by to make it another month to do the same.

Whats more annoying is people like this have the attatude that we should be doing more or some how they are entitled to a life like this. I wish as a society that we can just use the motto "WORK FOR A LIVING", you dont work you don't eat plain and simple. Thats where the government F***ed up, instead of giving assitance we should be making these people work for the assistance they receive.

I have one of these in my family, too. Just had her 4th child and 'rents' a home my parents bought so her boys could have a yard to play in. The words of one of my cousins who was recently ranting about her sums up my feelings:

I got on someone's case who was at a friend's house that was suckling on .gov's teet, he had the balls to say "I found a way to cheat the system, I'm sorry you can't be that smart." I was about ready to find the largest blunt object and smash his head in. I know he abuses the system and buys weed, alcohol and other stuff that it's not intended for, I had to walk away to save his life, and I even told him "I'm sorry, I have to walk away before I lose my cool and something happens that I might regret." He just laughed a very condescending laugh, at that point I about went off- thankfully cooler heads prevailed.

It's obvious that she ain't starving, or even missing any meals.

She's a do nothing, untrained slug, that has done nothing to change her situation. No sympathy here. I've worked an average of 10 hours a day since shortly after I graduated from high school.
