So we had the plumber over today (every 2 years we have them run a snake down the sewer as preventative maintenance, and we had him put a new faucet in the bath tub).

He was having some trouble seeing something under the tub and the wife grabbed the Surefire G2 flashlight we keep by the bed and handed it to him so he could use it real quick.

He looked at the light and said to my wife "You guys have guns don't you?"

I dunno ... that just made me lol.

OK I see the comical side to it but I would also be VERY aware of your security.
An overwhelming majority of burglaries occur by somebody who has been in the house prior.

in my house it would be more like this:

I dunno, what was your first clue? the big metal NRA sign on the side of the house? or the "smile, wait for the flash" sticker on the door, the guns laying around on top of counters, or maybe the ammo boxes scattered on the floor, perhaps the gun cleaning kit laid out right on the coffee table, or maybe it's the safe the size of a smart car?"

nah, don't have any, lost them all in a boating accident.

Yep, and if he's anything like my plumber- who is an old high school buddy- take him shooting someday! I've invited one of my insureds to come shooting sometime at BluCore- problem is, he's one of those Berretta guys
