    Default Hello from Brighton

Hello all, new to the ar-15 world, with lots to learn. I just recently bought a Stag Arms Model 1L. I am looking forward to researching and learning more about ar's, reloading and of course shooting this firearm.

    Welcome to the site.

Lefty; eh? You're in good company here - several lefties here (including myself).

I've got a Stag 1L too and love it. I think you'll be pleased with your choice. If you ever look to swap out your ejection port dust cover with an engraved cover you'll need to be aware that it sits on the rifle upside down from normal covers and the same goes for when it flips open. Standard engraved dust covers won't work like with a regular AR, it needs to be engraved upside down (guess how I found out about this).

Okay, I have to ask about your handle/userid... When I first saw it I was SURE you were a spambot account, not a legit member. What does the handle mean?

Haha, well I am glad you are satisfied with your rifle. I have been researching and asking questions for a couple months now, and it seemed to me like stag was the only option. I will ask you this, with yours do you stick to brass only, or do you incorporate steel in as well?

As for my i.d..... it is High Class White Trash with out the spaces or vowels...

I preper to shoot only brass in all firearms, but sometimes I'll shoot steel or aluminum (handgun) if that's all I can get. In AR's I've only ever used brass. I just trust brass better and lots of the steel cased stuff is imported which I have an unsubstantiated fear of using.

    As far as your id...awesome!
