Need mechanic for car inspection.

I've found myself in need of a "new" car as of yesterday. So far it looks like the private market has what I want and can afford right now. Does anyone have a trusted mechanic (or maybe you are one) that inspects used cars? I'm looking for something in central Denver I guess but right now my top car choice is in Westminister. Being open on the weekend of course is also pretty important.

On that note, any info on what kind of price to look for and about how long they take? Are there places that can get do a carfax report with it? It's been a while.

The shop I am at is at Mississippi and Havana if you want to bring it buy. 90 bucks for a PPI. Should take about an hour. It is extra for a compression/leak down test if you want one.
