I don't feel as though a man should be the commander and chief unless he once served in the military. I wished that we still used the model of the state militia where citizens can serve, but that is another topic of conversation.

I don’t feel as though Obama is a horrible president because I disagree with him politically. I think he is horrible because he does not believe in this country nor would you ever see him profess that America is great. If your commander and chief spent most of his life and associated with people who looked at this country with contempt, then how could this country ever be great when he is the leader? He is not capable of sacrificing everything he has for his fellow countryman.
Today, our presidents are chosen in the same way as the next American Idol. If it is hip and politically correct, why not? When McCain, who I don’t necessarily like politically but respect for all that he sacrificed, lost to a man who’s spiritual journey was influenced by a man who professed “God Damn America”, I felt as though this country lost a part of it soul where the best days are in the rear view mirror.
