Just to get an idea of the course of fire, I was thinking something like this:
At a range of 65 yards and in your normal every day carry configuration; at the command to fire, you will draw and fire all rounds as quickly as possible.
Targets will be PPC silhouettes with normal points as marked on the targets. Ties will be decided by the fastest time.
How many points should we subtract for miss on the target?
How many points should we subtract for miss not on the target?
Depending on the number of shooters, this shouldn't take too long.
I could set up three stands to have three shooters, shooting simultaneously. There is no movement, no alibis, and no reloading, so having multiple shooter at one time shouldn't be a problem.
In addition to a range finder, anyone have a PACT timer? I have a stop watch, but ideally we will need one for each shooter.
I'm open to all suggestions.
