But from past experience, most guns usually go from 110 to 150% of retail value at auctions. I have stood in awe, as I watched people bid MORE than new price for a gun at auction.

There are times, like when they were trying to get a bid of $100 on a revolver. I asked to see it, Ruger single six, 99% condition, 3 screw. I bid the $100, and am not sorry. :twisted:
But I have found that to be the exception, not the rule.

I like estate sales that they run like a garage sale most thing you can haggle them down. or if hardly anyone shows up to the auction then you can make out.
I would like to see what the 17L goes for those are hard to get your hands on sometimes. Who ever goes let me know what that sells for and how hard i need to kick myself for not going.
In other terms that bridgport mill would be awsome to own.
