In the event that I was not able to get away, a cell phone would be my first line of defense, then I might consider other options. My carry weapon would be my last line of defense, even if I had to back violently into the other driver's vehicle to create space to retreat. Someone standing outside my car window yelling doesn't constitute a threat of "serious injury or death" in my mind, and therefore does not warrant a response with a deadly weapon. That being said, I wasn't there, and situations can devolve quickly. Did Dipshit A have a weapon in hand, like a tire iron? I dunno.

There ought to be an IQ test to qualify for a driver's license...

I vote for this. It would relieve about 80% of the congestion on the roads. I could probably get across town in half an hour instead of an hour and a half.
