Just got home...this is the 1st time hunting far eastern Colorado for antelope instead of El Paso county.

I couldn't believe how skittish they were and at what distances.

They were running at distances starting at 1/2 mile. I usually only shoot at distances up to 200 yards.

They have definately been shot at.

I couldn't take any shots today because of this strange phenomenon.
Next year I will be hunting my old haunt where I am the only hunter on 20k acres.

If you see someone taking these long distance pot shots standing off-hand call the DOW, they would love to give some trouble out.
