    Members of Congress are immune from insider trading laws, even when they chair a committee that regulates an industry they may be heavily invested in (or against).

    Essentially, if you can't become rich in Congress, you either have scruples or are mentally challenged. In the eyes of most people on the hill, that's the same thing.
